In anticipation of the rapidly approaching wrestling competition at the 2016 Olympic Games, the TODAY show will feature defending Olympic champion Jordan Burroughs tomorrow on NBC at approximately 9:30 a.m. local time.

Many of the prominent Olympic athletes will be featured on the TODAY show throughout the two week long Olympic Games. Burroughs will join the TODAY show crew live from Copacabana Beach to discuss his preparations for the Olympic Games and life in Rio de Janeiro, among other various topics.

Burroughs will wrestle on Aug. 19, the sixth day of wrestling competition, in Rio de Janeiro at the Carioca Arena 2 in the Olympic Park. He is competing on the first day of men’s freestyle competition alongside U.S. teammate Daniel Dennis.

Rio marks Burroughs second Olympic experience and sixth-straight year as the U.S. representative at the highest World-level competition at 74 kg/163 lbs. in men’s freestyle. In addition to his Olympic gold in London, Burroughs won the World Championships in 2011, 2013 and 2015 and was a World bronze medalist in 2014.

Rio de Janeiro, Brazil runs one hour ahead of Eastern Time in the U.S. For more information on the TODAY show and where to watch visit www.today.com.
