Triple Crown Award
The Triple Crown is awarded to an athlete who wins three specific USA Wrestling national titles in the same year.
Boys Triple Crown
For boys in U10, U12 and U14, athletes must win the championships in each style (Folkstyle, Freestyle & Greco-Roman at the following National Championship events.
• Folkstyle Nationals
• Kids Nationals (Freestyle & Greco-Roman)
For boys in 16U and Junior, athletes must win the championships in each style (Folkstyle, Freestyle & Greco-Roman at the following National Championship events.
• Folkstyle Nationals
• Junior & 16U Nationals (Freestyle & Greco-Roman)
Girls Triple Crown
For girls in U10, U12 and U14, the three events of the Triple Crown include:
• Brian Keck Memorial Preseason Nationals
• Girls Folkstyle Nationals
• Women’s Nationals
For girls in 16U and Junior, Triple Crown events include:
- Girls Folkstyle Nationals
- National High School Recruiting Showcase
- Women’s Nationals
- Junior and 16U Nationals
To win the Junior Triple Crown, a wrestler must win the Junior division at the Girls Folkstyle Nationals and the Junior Nationals in Fargo, plus one of the other events.
To win the 16U Triple Crown, a wrestler must win the 16U division at the Girls Folkstyle Nationals and the 16U Nationals in Fargo, plus one of the other events.
