Freestyle for Females: Wyoming Seminary vs. Team Pennsylvania live Sunday on Rokfin

The Wyoming Seminary girls wrestling team takes the mat Sunday, Feb 21st for the Freestyle for Females showcase, a USA Wrestling sanctioned event.
The Blue Knights will be taking on Team Pennsylvania in a dual match style freestyle competition. Exciting matches are expected as both the SEM girls and Team Pennsylvania rosters are filled with National Champions, Team USA members, and a handful of nationally ranked competitors. The event is sponsored by MyHOUSE Sportsgear and Wrestle Like a Girl.
There are a handful of matches featuring two ranked wrestlers including: #3 Lillian Freitas (SEM) vs. #9 Kaitlyn Pegarella (PA), #7 Rianne Murphy (SEM) vs. #9 Lexia Schecterly (PA), #12 Madison Wellen (SEM) vs. #15 Haylie Jaffe (PA), #10 Virginia Foard (SEM) vs. #9 Lexia Schechterly (PA), and #10 Kendall Bostelman (SEM) vs. #9 Grace Stem (PA).
Youth matches start the event off, as rising star Emma Grimes takes on Juliette Trout, followed by Hannah Lawrence and Julia Horger at 100lbs. U15 World Champion Tai Mallqui will square off against tough youngster Sierra Chiesa. Freshman Cloe Charlesworth will challenge Mackenzi DelVecchio and Angelina Dawson, a postgraduate student, will take on Alexx Ortiz.
Talented local wrestlers Ekta Arora and Piper Staniford will test their skill against Sierra Chiesa and western PA product Avry Ryhal. Tiffany Stoshak will get her season going against Lane Fordyce.
#6 Abby Duke then takes on Team PA member Emily Murphy followed by freshman #9 Faith Bartoszek from Wisconsin and Alexx Ortiz. USA World Team member #3 Lilly Freitas of California, #14 Avery Kibelbeck of Tennessee, and red hot #6 Ava Bayless of PA are slated to take on Team PA members Abbie Miles, Joelle Scott, and Jordyn Fouse, respectively. New Jersey natives Carina Giangeruso and #16 Veronica Whitacre will face Morgan Edwards and Jael Miller.
The Wyoming Seminary Blue Knights are led by head coach Erin Vandiver, who is a former 2x Team USA Olympic & National team coach as well as assistant coaches Junior World Champion Maya Nelson and CC Weber. Team PA will be coached by Chris Atkinson, Kevin Franklin, Jeff Moretti, and Chris Mooney.
