Greco receives draws for Junior Pan American Championships

FORTALEZA, Brazil – The draws for today’s Greco-Roman action of the 2018 Junior Pan American Championships have been released.
One of the highlighted bouts of the opening rounds is 2017 Junior World silver medalist Cevion Severado taking on 2016 Cadet World silver medalist Nestor Delgado Ramirez at 55 kg. They are the only two World medalists in the entire Greco field.
Britton Holmes will take on 2018 Senior Pan American silver medalist Gerardo Oliva Montes of Peru in his first bout at 67 kg.
American battling returning Junior Pan Am medalists include Dylan Gregerson at 63 kg, who will wrestle 2017 Junior Pan Am runner-up Jose Davila Cabello of Peru, and Austin Harris at 97 kg, who will take on Junior Pan Am bronze winner Bryan Cruz Palacios of Peru.
Returning champion Anthony Cassioppi drew Andrew Gunning in his opening match at 130 kg. Gunning, competing for Peru, wrestles at the University of North Carolina.
Of the 10 weight classes contested today, eight of them will be round-robin action.
The tournament begins at 9 a.m. ET live on Trackwrestling.
