14 U.S. wrestlers ranked in May UWW women's freestyle rankings

United World Wrestling has released its latest women’s freestyle rankings for May.
There are 14 American wrestlers ranked in this month’s rankings featuring the top 20 women in each weight class.
Two-time World Champion Adeline Gray (Colorado Springs, Colo./New York AC) maintains the No. 1 ranking at 75 kg. Gray is the only top-ranked U.S. wrestler in the world in all three international styles.
World silver and bronze medalist Helen Maroulis (Rockville, Md./Sunkist Kids) holds the No. 2 ranking at 55 kg after going undefeated at the women’s freestyle World Cup.
2012 World Champion and four-time World medalist Elena Pirozhkova (Colorado Springs, Colo./Titan Mercury WC) made her way into the 69 kg rankings at the No. 3 spot after previously holding the No. 2 ranking at 63 kg.
Also appearing in the top 10 of their respective weight classes are Alyssa Lampe (Colorado Springs, Colo./Sunkist Kids) who is No. 10 at 48 kg and Whitney Conder (Colorado Springs, Colo./Army WCAP) who is No. 7 at 53 kg.
Four Americans have moved into the current international rankings that did not appear in the last set of rankings released in April.
Pan American champions Sarah Hildebrandt (Granger, Ind./King University) at 55 kg and Jennifer Page (Orangevale, Calif./Titan Mercury WC) at 60 kg both appear at No. 14 in their weight classes.
Also moving into the rankings are Dave Schultz Memorial International champion Erin Clodgo (Colorado Springs, Colo./Sunkist Kids) holding the No. 17 spot at 63 kg and Katherine Fulp-Allen (Colorado Springs, Colo./New York AC) at No. 18 at 53 kg.
