12 U.S. athletes receive draw for first day of Dan Kolov/Nikola Petrov in Bulgaria

SOFIA, Bulgaria – The U.S. draws have been received for the first day of the Dan Kolov/Nikola Petrov International, which begins on Thursday.


The USA will have six men’s freestyle wrestlers, three Greco-Roman wrestlers and three women’s freestyle wrestlers competing.


Included in day one action are 2021 World champion and 2020 Olympic bronze medalist Thomas Gilman in men’s freestyle, and 2022 U23 World bronze medalist Alex Hedrick in women’s freestyle.
