Team USA women's freestyle draws released for Zouhaier Sghaier Ranking Series Event in Tunisia

TUNIS, Tunisia - The women’s freestylers competing on Friday, July 15 at the Zouhaier Sghaier, UWW’s fourth ranking series event of the year, in Tunis, Tunisia have received their draws.
Team USA has representatives in three of the four weight classes being wrestled on Friday which will be wrestled in pools. Highlighting the competition are Olympic champions Helen Maroulis at 57 kg and Tamyra Mensah Stock at 68 kg.
Currently wrestling at North Central College, Amanda Martinez will meet Maroulis in pool competition. Martinez was a 2021 U23 World Team member.
Yelena Makoyed will compete at 76 kg along with Dymond Guilford and Precious Bell. Makoyed has been on a tear recently after beating World silver medalist and Olympian Epp Mae of Estonia to win the Matteo Pellicone Ranking Series Event in June. 2022 Pan American champion Guilford will meet Makoyed in her first match.
2019 U23 Word Team member Bell drew 2021 World bronze medalist Samar Ibrahim of Egypt of and Francy Raedelt of Germany for her first two matches.
This event scores points toward the UWW Ranking Series, which sets seeds for the 2022 World Championships in Serbia.
