UPDATE: World bronze medalist Hancock leads U.S. delegation at Grand Prix of Zagreb for Greco-Roman competition

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – USA Wrestling’s squad has been reduced from 17 Greco-Roman athletes to nine for the Grand Prix of Zagreb in Croatia, after Army WCAP’s team pulled out from the event. Competition is set for Jan. 29-30.

The U.S. roster includes 2021 World bronze medalist and Olympian G’Angelo Hancock (97 kg) well as past Senior World Team members RaVaughn Perkins (77 kg), Alan Vera (87 kg) and Cohlton Schultz (130 kg).

owns a 2017 Cadet World gold and a silver and bronze from the Junior World Championships.

Joining them are two athletes that have had success at the age-group level such as three-time age-group World Team member Randon Miranda (60 kg) and 2019 Cadet World teamer Robert Perez (67 kg).

Others expected to compete are Diego Romero (60 kg), Burke Paddock (77 kg), and Tanner Farmer (130 kg).
