No. 3 Menlo women, led by four champions, win NAIA Cascade Collegiate Conference, ahead of No. 5 Southern Oregon

GREAT FALLS, Montana – Led by four individual champions, No. 3 Menlo won the 2022 Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) women’s wrestling team title on Sunday.
There was no CCC tournament in 2021 because of the pandemic, but Menlo did win the last CCC tournament held in 2020.
Individual champions for the Oaks were Alleida Martinez (116), Nanea Estrella (130), Gracie Figueroa (136) and Emily Sandoval (191). Martinez and Figueroa were 2020 CCC champions, but at different weight classes, with Martinez at 109 and Figueroa at 130.
Menlo finished with 157.5 points, ahead of runner-up No. 5 Southern Oregon with 148 points. No. 10 University of Providence, the host team, was third with 111.5 points.
Southern Oregon was led by champions Macie Stewart (109) and Sienna Ramirez (155). The University of Providence had one champion, Ira Navarro (101).
Although it placed fourth in the standings, No. 18 Eastern Oregon had three individual champions: Macy Higa (123), Morgan Shines (143) and Olivia Robinson (170).
