Clarissa Chun sits down with USA Wrestling after being named head coach of Iowa's women's wrestling program

On Thursday afternoon, the University of Iowa named USA Wrestling National Women’s Freestyle assistant coach Clarissa Chun as its first head coach of the women’s wrestling program, which is the first NCAA Division I, Power Five conference institution to offer the sport.
Chun has been on the National Team staff since 2017, working under head coach Terry Steiner. In her time at USA Wrestling, Chun helped lead the United States to 17 World medals, including seven gold, four silver and six bronzes, as well as an Olympic gold, Olympic silver and two Olympic bronzes.
Chun sat down with USA Wrestling upon the historic announcement. Below is her interview.
