USA Wrestling has awarded one of its most popular national youth competitions, the 14U National Duals for the next four years (2026-2029).

The event will be held in the impressive Wiregrass Ranch Sports Campus in Wesley Chapel, Florida and will be held each year in June.

The local organizing committee is the Florida Amateur Wrestling Association (FAWA), USA Wrestling’s state association in Florida, in conjunction with Florida Sports Coast Tourism Bureau and America Warrior Wrestling.

“USA Wrestling is thrilled to award the 14U Boys National Duals to Florida and the Southeast Region. The Florida Amateur Wrestling Association (FAWA) spearheaded a strong and competitive bid with the help of Florida Sports Coast Tourism Bureau and America Warrior Wrestling. The Wiregrass Ranch Sports Campus will provide a premier facility with a great array of amenities,” said Pete Isais, USA Wrestling Director of National Events.

“We are super excited to host the USA Wrestling 14U National Duals. We look forward to showcasing a great event, displaying what we have to offer, as well as exposing more people to our great state,” said FAWA co-state chairpersons Steve Mocco and David Mason.

The 14U National Dual Meet Championships is the annual national championships for boys in the 14U age group (ages 13-14), featuring USA Wrestling state association teams competing in the Olympic disciplines of freestyle and Greco-Roman. All participating teams must be selected and attend through their respective state associations.

The Wiregrass Ranch Sports Campus in Florida’s Sports Coast is an unrivaled sports facility consisting of a 98,000 square-foot indoor sports arena ideal for competitive indoor sports. The facility also includes a multipurpose area, 360-degree viewing mezzanine, fitness center, team meeting and coach’s area, sports medicine office, food and beverage concessions, two outdoor multipurpose fields and plenty of convenient parking.

For the 14U National Duals, its 70,000 square-foot hardwood floor arena will accommodate 19 mats, including one on a raised platform, in two interior zones, with a connecting hallway.

There is one hotel co-located at the venue, the Residence Inn, and one within 10 minutes walking distance, the Fairfield Inn. There are 10 more hotels within an 11-minute drive to the venue.

The closest airport to Wesley Chapel is Tampa International Airport, just 29.3 miles from the venue. However, three other major international airports are within an approximate 90-minute drive to the venue, St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport (39.5 miles), Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport (72.9 miles) and the Orlando International Airport (84 miles).

Florida becomes only the third state to host the 14U National Duals since its inception in 1994, along with Indiana (1994-2022) and Pennsylvania (2023-2025). Wesley Chapel is just the sixth city to ever host this event. Most recently, Oaks, Pa. was the host city for the last three 14U National Duals. The event was previously known as the Schoolboy National Duals.
