U.S. Open Championships Returns To Las Vegas, April 22-26—Registration Now Open

The 2026 U.S. Open Championships, one of USA Wrestling’s top-tier events held annually, is set for a return to The Expo at World Market Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, on April 22-26.
This year’s U.S. Open will feature tournaments across seven different age groups, including 14 distinct national tournaments. All participants are encouraged to register and secure housing immediately to secure a spot at the event.
Age groups and divisions being contested in Las Vegas this April include:
- Senior Nationals (Born 2008 or Before) – Greco-Roman, Women’s Freestyle, Men’s Freestyle
- U20 Men (2006-2009) – Greco-Roman, Freestyle
- U17 Boys (2009-2011) – Greco-Roman, Freestyle
- U15 Boys (2011-2013) – Greco-Roman, Freestyle
- UWW Futures Boys (2014-2016) – Greco-Roman, Freestyle
- Girls National High School Recruiting Showcase (Born Sept. 1, 2006, and after, plus enrolled in 9-12 grade) – Freestyle
- Masters Men A (1992-2001), B (1984-1991), C (1976-1983), D (1968-1975), E (1960-1967), F (1951-1959) – Greco-Roman, Freestyle

Tournaments held in the Senior, U20 Men, U17 Boys and U15 Boys divisions are all included in the distinct World Team and Pan American Team qualifying processes for each age group. To learn more about each age group’s qualifying procedures, visit the USA Wrestling Team Selection Criteria page.
World Teams will be established in the Senior Greco-Roman, U20 Greco-Roman, U17 Greco-Roman and U17 Men’s Freestyle divisions. Pan American Teams will be decided for the U15 and U20 age groups in both Greco-Roman and men’s freestyle.
The Girls National High School Recruiting Showcase returns for the fifth year. This event is in freestyle wrestling, which is the collegiate style for women, and will be watched closely by college coaches and recruiters. To qualify, a wrestler must meet the following criteria:
- High school state champion (any year)
- 2026 high school state placers (2025-26 school year)
- National Prep champion
- USA Wrestling All-American by placing 1-8 at:
- Junior and 16U Folkstyle Nationals
- National High School Recruiting Showcase
- Women’s Freestyle Nationals (U17 or U20)
- Preseason Nationals (9-12 grade division)
- Junior & 16U Freestyle/Greco-Roman Nationals
- U15 and U17 Nationals placer (Currently enrolled in high school)
- NHSCA Virginia Beach placer (9-12 grade division)
Please note that girls who enter the Showcase event but are not qualified will be removed from the tournament without a refund.
