Match of the Day: Victoria Francis and Alexandria Glaude battle in the 2019 Senior Nationals semifinals

One of the premier matches on tonight’s Beat the Streets Virtual Telethon card will feature 72 kg World Team member Victoria Francis taking on No. 2 at 68 kg Alexandria Glaude. The pair wrestled this December in the Senior Nationals semifinals in a tightly contested bout.
Francis, who finished fifth at the 2019 World Championships, is dropping down to 68 kg for her Olympic run. She is a two-time World Team member, a two-time WCWA champion and a 2014 Junior World bronze medalist.
Glaude is currently No. 2 on the National Team behind only the reigning World champion Tamyra Mensah-Stock. She is a 2018 U23 World bronze medalist and a 2019 WCWA champion.
