Last weekend, Mason Parris and Tanner Hall clashed in the 125 kg Senior Nationals finals. Parris, a 2019 Junior World champion, was the No. 2 seed. While Hall, a two-time Junior World Team member, was seeded fifth. In the semifinals, Hall knocked off No. 1 seed Dom Bradley, 3-2, to claim his spot in the finals.
Last NCAA season, both wrestlers were named NWCA First-Team All-Americans. Parris went 28-1 as a sophomore for Michigan, while Hall went 23-3 for Arizona State as a redshirt senior. The pair met once, with Parris coming out on top at the Cliff Keen Invitational, 6-3.
