Relive the 2019 Beat the Streets Los Angeles Benefit matches

LOS ANGELES – Beat the Streets Los Angeles is re-airing all 10 matches from its 2019 Annual Benefit and International Competition on btsla.org, starting today, May 18, 2020.
Matches will be released at 1 p.m. (EDT) and archived at https://beatthestreets-la.org/hollywood-v-bollywood/. The 2019 Benefit, themed ‘Hollywood Wrestles Bollywood’, featured some of the top women’s wrestlers from the U.S. and India.
The Team USA lineup highlighted World champions Adeline Gray, Tamyra Mensah-Stock and Jacarra Winchester as well as World medalists Alli Ragan, Sarah Hildebrandt and Mallory Velte, while India boasted Olympic bronze medalist Sakshi Malik and World bronze medalist Pooja Dhanda as well as several other stars. Two top wrestlers from Mexico, Mariana Diaz Munoz and Maria Garcia Bautista, also participated.
The match commentators for Hollywood Wrestles Bollywood included 2016 Olympic champion and two-time World champion Helen Maroulis and former UFC Heavyweight Champion Josh Barnett.
Due to the COVID-19 crisis, Beat the Streets LA’s 2020 Annual Benefit and International Competition, originally scheduled for May 16, 2020, was canceled. Beat the Streets LA looks forward to hosting a benefit in the future when deemed safe by local and state authorities.

Bringing elite women wrestlers to Los Angeles helps inspire the growing number of girls in the region who participate in our great sport.
