It was a clash of World Team members at the 2019 U.S. Open Greco-Roman finals at 77 kg as 2017 World Teamer Pat Smith faced off against 2018 representative Kamal Bey.
Bey edged out Smith for the U.S. Open title, but just months later, they went head-to-head at Final X for the 2019 World Team spot, where Smith emerged victorious.
