Greco-Roman team receives draws for Pan American Championships in Ottawa

OTTAWA, Canada – All nine of the U.S. Greco-Roman team members received their draws for the 2020 Pan American Championships, which are set to begin Friday in Ottawa, Canada.

Only six Americans will compete on Friday, including Max Nowry at 55 kg, Leslie Fuenffinger at 60 kg, Alejandro Sancho at 67 kg, Raymond Bunker at 72 kg, G’Angelo Hancock at 97 kg and Adam Coon at 130 kg.

The other three, Pat Smith (77 kg), John Stefanowicz (82 kg) and Joe Rau (87 kg), will begin their competition on Saturday.

67 kg: Alejandro Sancho (Army WCAP)

72 kg: Raymond Bunker (Marines)
vs. Joilson de Brito Ramos Junior (Brazil), gold at 2017 and 2018 Junior Pan American Championships, bronze at 2019 Pan American Championships

77 kg: Pat Smith (Minnesota Storm)
vs. Yosvanys Pena Flores (Cuba), gold at 2019 Pan American Championships, bronze at 2019 Pan Am Games

82 kg: John Stefanowicz (Marines)
