Match of the Day: Ellis Coleman wins back-to-back bronze medals at the 2010 and 2011 Junior World Championships
by USA Wrestling
Before Ellis Coleman established himself as one of the top Senior Greco-Roman wrestlers in the country, he was making waves on the age-group level. Coleman won back-to-back Junior World bronze medals at the 2010 World Championships in Budapest, Hungary and the 2011 World Championships in Bucharest, Romania.
Initially, Coleman was the only age-group medalist in Greco-Roman for the U.S. during those two years, but Toby Erickson was awarded the 2011 bronze medal at 120 kg after Babak Dezhbani of Iran tested positive for doping, bumping Erickson up from fifth place.
Since then, Coleman has made four Senior World Teams and has represented the U.S. at the last three World Championships.
