Match of the Day: Sammy Brooks and Kevin Beazley wrestle in the 2012 Fargo Junior Greco finals

Before Sammy Brooks and Kevin Beazley became Div. I All-Americans for Iowa and Old Dominion respectively, they were wrestling in the Fargo Junior Greco Finals.
In 2011, Brooks took bronze at the Cadet World Championships in men’s freestyle. He continued his freestyle success, making a Junior World Team in 2013 and a U23 World Team in 2017. He currently trains with the Hawkeye Wrestling Club.
Beazley made Greco Junior World Teams the next two years and briefly pursued a Senior career in both Greco and freestyle. He was an assistant coach for Old Dominion before they cut their program, and he recently joined the Detroit Central Catholic coaching staff.
