Match of the Day: Tatiana Suarez pins her way to bronze at the 2010 World Championships

Tatiana Suarez, who used to compete as Tatiana Padilla, is off to an excellent start in her MMA career. Carrying an 8-0 professional record (5-0 in the UFC), the Ultimate Fighter season 23 champion is one of the top talents in the women’s strawweight division, where she is currently ranked No. 3.
Before getting into MMA, Suarez was one of best women’s freestyle wrestlers on the planet. A three-time World Team member, Suarez made the bronze medal match in all three of the Senior World Championships she competed in, taking bronze in 2008 and 2010, while finishing 5th in 2009.
Additionally, she was a 2007 Junior World silver medalist and a 2008 Junior World bronze medalist.
Suarez is also a two-time Jiu-Jitsu World champion, taking gold in the white-belt division in 2013 and the blue-belt division in 2015.
