Match of the Day: National Team member Desiree Zavala claims a U23 Nationals title

National Team member Desiree Zavala dominated her way to a U23 Nationals title, outscoring her opponents 31-0 and ending all of her matches within the first two minutes of the first period. Zavala, currently a senior at Wayland Baptist, is No. 3 on the National Team at 62 kg, although she dropped down to 59 kg for this tournament.
In the finals, she battled Koral Sugiyama, a 2014 Cadet World Team member and NAIA finalist for Campbellsville.
