On Friday and Saturday, the first FloWrestling RTC Cup will be held in Ohio, with six top Regional Training Centers from across the USA competing for pride, as well as $200,000 of prize money to split among the teams. Numerous Olympic caliber athletes will be competing during the week, an amazing preview of the Olympic year ahead.
USA Wrestling’s Cody Bickley and Gary Abbott visited with Andy Barth and Jonny Ruggiano of the Titan Mercury WC, who were the creators and driving force behind the FloWrestling RTC Cup. They tell the story about the inspiration behind the event, the path to make it a reality, and what they expect to see this weekend when all of these great wrestlers battle in dual meet action.
