In four short years, J’den Cox has quickly become one of the top wrestlers in the world.

In 2016, he shocked many to make the U.S. Olympic Team and weeks later qualified the United States for the Olympics at 86 kg/189 lbs. In Rio, Cox collected his first World/Olympic medal, finishing with bronze.

At the 2017 World Championships in Paris, Cox picked up another bronze medal at 86 kg.

With the addition of the new non-Olympic weights, Cox moved up to 92 kg/202 lbs. for the 2018 and 2019 World Championships in Budapest, Hungary, and Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan, respectively. In both appearances at 92 kg, Cox claimed the top spot on the podium.
