The new Folkstyle Tour of America National Club Duals set for Oct. 16-18 in Wisconsin Dells, Wis.

USA Wrestling is proud to announce a brand new competition, the 2020 Folkstyle Tour of America National Club Duals presented by Trackwrestling, set for the Woodside Dome in Wisconsin Dells, Wis., October 16-18.


This will be a dual meet event, featuring club teams of high school boys and high school girls, as well as club teams of middle school boys and middle school girls.


The event will be conducted following the requirements of the state and local health authorities, as well as using the safety provisions of the USA Wrestling Return to Events Guidelines.

This becomes the newest event of the popular and growing USA Wrestling Folkstyle Tour of America series, which features high-quality youth folkstyle competitions wrestlers of many ages, held in strategic locations across the United States.


This is the exact same venue as the successful Folkstyle Tour of America Dominate in the Dells event, one of the top youth folkstyle events on the calendar each season, as well as the USA Wrestling Kids Freestyle and Greco-Roman National Championships, the youth national event which concludes USA Wrestling’s Kids Triple Crown Series.


The weigh-in day for teams is Friday, October 16. Competition will be held on Saturday, October 17 and Sunday, October 18. The event will be broadcast live on Trackwrestling.


In the boys high school division, the event will be limited to the first 32 teams, while the girls high school division will be limited to the first eight teams. In the boys middle school division, the event will be limited to the first 24 teams, while the girls middle school division will be limited to the first eight teams. Teams must register in accordance with the Club Duals Team Packet.

Teams will be guaranteed between 6-7 dual meets during the event. Team trophies will go to the top three teams in each division, with medals awarded to each member of the first-place team.


This is a GRADE tournament based of the grade they are in during the 2020– 21 school year. There are maximum ages a wrestler can be in each grade division. If a wrestler is too old for a grade division they MUST move up to the next grade division.


There are 10 weight classes contested in each dual meet. The weight classes are as follows:

High School Division (Wrestlers in 9th Grade through 12th Grade): Max Age is 19 years old

Boys Weight Classes: 108, 116, 125, 132, 140, 150, 160, 175, 190, 275

Girls Weight Classes: 100, 106, 114, 120, 126, 132, 140, 150, 160, 170

Middle School Division (Wrestlers in 6th Grade through 8th Grade): Max Age is 15 years old

Boys Weight Classes: 77, 84, 90, 97, 105, 115, 126, 139, 157, 187

Girls Weight Classes: 72, 79, 86, 92, 98, 105, 112, 120, 135, 160


All athletes and coaches must have current USA Wrestling membership and all competing clubs must be USA Wrestling chartered. Team members must be affiliated with their competing USA Wrestling clubs. National Federation High School Rules are in effect, with USA Wrestling modification. Periods are 1.5 minutes long for all three periods.


A $200 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a team entry. The fee for the early registration deadline must be paid in full by September 18 ($575 check or $600 credit card per team). The fee for the late registration deadline must be paid in full after September 18 ($700 check or $725 credit card per team). Final payment is due by October 6, 2020.


Each team fee covers all wrestlers (a maximum of 15 per team on roster), two coaches bands and one table worker admission. Each team must provide a table worker to rotate with their team during the tournament. Teams that fail to provide a table worker pay an additional $250.


Admission for adults is $15 per day, or $20 for the weekend, and for students is $5 per day or $10 for the weekend.
