Match of the Day: Kayla Miracle earns a fall to claim bronze at the 2014 Junior World Championships

Kayla Miracle dominated her way to bronze at the 2014 Junior World Championships, building up an 8-0 lead before pinning Romania’s Kriszta Tunde. This was Miracle’s second age-group World medal after taking silver at the 2012 Cadet World Championships. Miracle added another Junior World bronze medal to her trophy case in 2016 and a U23 World silver in 2019. Additionally, on the Senior level, Miracle placed eighth at the 2019 Senior World Championships. In March, Miracle made the finals of the Pan Am Olympic Qualifier, securing a berth to the Tokyo Games at 62 kg for Team USA.
