Match of the Day: Kevin Jackson defeats Iran's Rasul Kadem at the 1992 Olympic Games

Kevin Jackson won gold for the Red White and Blue at the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona, Spain. On his road to the finals, Jackson squared off with an up-and-coming Iranian wrestler Rasul Khadem.
At the time, Khadem was a 1991 Espoir World champion and a 1989 Espoir World bronze medalist. Khadem would go on to finish with bronze at the 1992 Olympics and would later take gold at the 1996 Olympic Games. He would also earn gold medals at the 1994 and 1995 World Championships and take silver at the 1998 World Championships.
Jackson, who would also end his career as a two-time World champion (1991, 1995), would go on to defeat Elmadi Dshabrailov in the finals to claim gold. Dshabrailov was a 1989 World champion and would fall to Jackson again in the finals of the 1995 World Championships.
Jackson is currently the National Freestyle Developmental Coach.
