Two-time Olympian Elena Pirozhkova has had her fair share of international success, making three World finals and hauling in four World medals over the course of her career.
In 2012, Pirozhkova claimed gold at the World Championships with a victory over Bulgaria’s Taybe Yusein. At the time, Yusein was a three-time Junior World medalist and a 2011 Junior World champion. Since then, Yusein has added five more Senior World medals to her collection including a World title in 2018.
