Roberts, Koontz, Porter, Orndorff and Finesilver receive draws for U23 Worlds

2018 Senior World Team member Dalton Roberts will begin his competition tomorrow.
BUDAPEST, Hungary – The first five U.S. Greco-Roman athletes received their draws for Friday’s action at the 2019 U23 World Championships in Budapest, Hungary.
Representing the USA is Brady Koontz at 55 kg, Dalton Roberts at 63 kg, Jesse Porter at 77 kg, Matt Finesilver at 87 kg and David Tate Orndorff at 130 kg.
Roberts, a 2018 Senior World Team member, will begin his fifth World Championships tomorrow and second at the U23 level. Wrestling at 63 kg, Roberts will face 2014 Cadet World champion Yerner Fidakhmetov from Kazakhstan.
2019 Final X runner-up Brady Koontz will open his competition at 55 kg against returning U23 World bronze medalist and 2015 Junior World bronze medalist Amangali Bekbolatov of Kazakhstan.
Competing at his third U23 World Championships tomorrow is Jesse Porter, who drew three-time Junior World medalist Sajan Sajan of India in the first round at 77 kg.
At 130 kg, David Tate Orndorff, a 2018 Senior National Team member, will take on Deepak Poonia from India to kick off his World Championships.
Matt Finesilver will make his World Championships debut, competing at 87 kg. He will open his tournament against Kiryl Maskevich from Belarus, who was seventh at the 2018 Junior World Championships.
