In 1995, the World Freestyle Wrestling Championships were held at the Omni in Atlanta, Ga.
The United States won the team title at the 1995 World Freestyle Wrestling Championships on their home mats. It was the second time a U.S. team had won a World Team Title, following the team’s victory at the 1993 World Championships in Toronto, Canada.
Many of the members of the 1995 World Team were also members of the 1993 World Team. It was one of the greatest eras of success for the U.S. men’s freestyle program.
Can you name every person in this victory photo, taken after the USA received the first-place team trophy?
