2017 U.S. Open champion Jordan Oliver is back on the international scene and is taking the world by storm, cruising to a spot in the Dan Kolov International finals at 65 kg.

The tournament is a United World Wrestling Ranking Series event held this weekend in Ruse, Bulgaria.

En route to the finals, Oliver has outscored his opponents, 34-5. In the semifinals, he dominated 2014 World University champion Selahattin Kilicsallayan of Turkey, 9-2.

Oliver will take on 2018 World silver medalist Bajrang on Saturday for the Dan Kolov title.

Taking a short break from competition the last two seasons, Oliver, a two-time NCAA champion, moved to Ithaca, N.Y., to train at Finger Lakes Wrestling Club, where one of his training partners is 2018 World champion Kyle Dake.

A serious threat for the 2019 U.S. Senior World Team spot at 65 kg, Oliver told UWW in the interview below that he feels he has really taken control of his career and made the changes necessary to reach his World and Olympic aspirations.

Fans can watch live on Flowrestling.org. Medal matches will begin at 11 a.m. ET.
