Of the 15 best-of-three series at Final X: Lincoln this weekend, there are four rematches of championship series from last year's Final X event. USA Wrestling will post the match video from each of the 2018 Final X series which will be a rematch this year, one per day over the next four days.
Our Tuesday posting is the best-of-three series at 74 kg between Jordan Burroughs and Isaiah Martinez from the 2018 Final X.
At Final X at Lincoln last year, Burroughs beat IMAR in two straight bouts, 4-1 in the first match, and with an 11-1 technical fall in the second match.
Burroughs has a historic international career, with a 2012 Olympic gold, four Senior World golds and two Senior World bronze medals. He has made every U.S. Senior World or Olympic Team since 2011, a streak of eight straight years which he is aiming to extend to nine years in a row with a win in Final X: Lincoln.
Martinez won the 2019 U.S. Open, beating Thomas Gantt in the finals, then claimed the title at the 2019 World Team Trials Challenge Tournament, beating Jason Nolf in a three-match series in the finals.
The Burroughs vs. Martinez series will be the Main Event during the 6 p.m. session of Final X: Lincoln on Saturday night.
