Burroughs, Downey, Cox and Snyder receive draws for Yasar Dogu

ISTANBUL, Turkey – The final four U.S. men’s freestylers—Jordan Burroughs, Pat Downey, J’den Cox and Kyle Snyder—received draws for Sunday’s action at the Yasar Dogu International in Istanbul, Turkey.
Five-time World and Olympic champion Burroughs drew 2017 Junior European bronze medalist Csaba Vida of Hungary in the first round at 74 kg.
Burroughs is on the opposite side of the bracket of 2017 World champion Frank Chamizo of Italy. Burroughs defeated Chamizo in the bronze-medal match at the 2018 World Championships.
At 86 kg, 2012 Junior World silver medalist Pat Downey will take on Deepak Punia of India, who was a 2016 Cadet World champion, 2018 Junior World silver medalist and 2019 Asian Championships bronze medalist.
2019 World champion J’den Cox will begin his tournament at 92 kg against 2012 Junior Asian champion Abubakar Turgayev from Kazakhstan.
Three-time World and Olympic champion Kyle Snyder will take on 2019 Ivan Yarygin bronze medalist Baki Sahin of Turkey in his first round at 97 kg.
The tournament begins at 11 a.m. local time (4 a.m. ET) on Saturday and will be live streamed on FloWrestling.org.
