2019 U.S. Open men’s freestyle pre-seeds announced

Two-time World medalist James Green (70 kg) and 2017 World silver medalist Thomas Gilman (57 kg) are among the prominent stars who have received No. 1 pre-seeds in men’s freestyle for this week’s U.S. Open Championships in Las Vegas.
The seeding committee in men’s freestyle for the U.S. Open met this morning and developed these pre-seeds.
The other No. 1 wrestlers in the pre-seeds include Nico Megaludis (61 kg), Jordan Oliver (65 kg), Isaiah Martinez (74 kg), Alex Dieringer (79 kg), Sam Brooks (86 kg), Hayden Zillmer (92 kg), Kyven Gadson (97 kg) and Adam Coon (125 kg).
The champions at the U.S. Open at 57 kg, 65 kg and 70 kg will advance to Final X. The 2019 U.S. Open winners at the other seven weight classes will advance as top seeds at the World Team Trials Challenge Tournament in Raleigh, N.C. in May.
