The time has come. The 2018 World Wrestling Championships in Budapest, Hungary kicks off on Saturday, October 20 at the Papp Laszlo Arena with four men’s freestyle weight classes. For nine straight days, the best wrestlers in the world will do battle for World medals and national pride.
Wrestling fans in the United States can see all of the action by purchasing a UWW Streaming Season Pass from TrackWrestling, the U.S. broadcaster for the event.

The Living the Dream Medal Fund provides bonuses to U.S. wrestlers who win World and Olympic medals in wrestling. It is supported by a group of Medal Fund Stewards, plus support from the U.S. Olympic Committee and USA Wrestling.
Since its inception in 2009, the Living Dream Medal Fund has provided $2,095,000 directly to World and Olympic medalists. In 2017, based upon results at the World Championships in Paris, a record for a non-Olympic year of $270,000 was awarded to nine medalists.
For World Championships, the fund provides $50,000 for a gold medal, $25,000 for a silver medal and $15,000 for a bronze medal. During Olympic years, the fund provides $250,000 for an Olympic gold medal, $50,000 for an Olympic silver medal and $25,000 for an Olympic bronze medal.
