Four U.S. Senior Greco-Roman athletes unbeaten after day one of Malar Cup in Sweden

VASTERAS, Sweden – The first day of the Malar Cup, a major international tournament in Sweden, has completed. A large team of U.S. Senior and youth athletes entered the event, which will conclude on Sunday.
After the first day, there are four unbeaten Senior wrestlers from the United States, including Sean Sesnan of Watertown, Tenn. at 60 kg, Dominic Damon of Seattle, Wash. at 67 kg, Corey Fitzgerald of Green, Ohio at 82 kg and Tyler Curd of Oak Grove, Mo. at 130 kg.
Two U.S. wrestlers competing in the UWW Cadet division are also unbeaten, Logan Hatch of Hudson, Wis. and Hunter Lewis of Stoughton, Wis, both who wrestle at 65 kg.
Damon and Lewis were members of the 2018 U.S. Cadet World Team which competed in the Cadet World Championships in Croatia. In the 2017 Malar Cup, both Damon and Lewis won bronze medals in the Cadet division.
There is also a healthy group of athletes from the USA in the youth divisions. From this group, those unbeaten on day one are Revin Dickman (34 kg), Nathan Rioux (34 kg), Kolby Warren (34 kg), Hunter Taylor (38 kg), Christopher Coates (41 kg), Cheaney Schoeff (48 kg), Greyson Clark(48 kg), Jadon Skellenger (57 kg), Karsen Otis (57 kg) and Henry Amborn (57 kg).
