Two-time NCAA champ Gabe Dean survives toughest test yet to keep perfect season intact

Two-time NCAA champion Gabe Dean of Cornell immediately following his 4-3 victory over No. 8 seed Jack Dechow of Old Dominion in the 184-pound quarterfinals at the 2017 NCAA Championships held at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Mo.
Dean defeated Dechow in an overtime classic on Friday morning to advance to his fourth NCAA semifinal. The match was tied 3-3 entering the overtime period. After a scoreless sudden victory period, Dean was able to escape and ride out Dechow to solidify the win. He will face No. 4 seed Nolan Boyd of Oklahoma State tonight for a place in the finals.
