The Southern Grind, the fifth event of USA Wrestling’s popular Folkstyle Tour of America Series, will be held in Cartersville, Ga. on Saturday, January 20, and will be broadcast LIVE on TrackCast.

The event, held at the LakePoint Indoor Sports Complex, will feature competition in the Fly, Bantam, Intermediate, Novice and Middle School divisions, with true beginner divisions for Bantams, Intermediate, Novice and Middle School.
USA Wrestling is pleased that it has been able to bring a Folkstyle Tour of America event back to Georgia this year.
Wrestlers in the Intermediate, Novice, and Middle School* divisions (does not include True Beginners) in this event can earn points for the U.S. Future Olympian Rankings.
*Wrestlers in the Middle School division that meet the Schoolboy age group requirements will earn points in the Schoolboy division. Wrestlers in the Middle School division that meet the Cadet age group requirements do not earn points.
