What to watch this week: Freestyle World Cup, NWCA National Duals

This week in wrestling, the U.S. men’s freestyle team takes on the world at the Freestyle World Cup in Iran, and the final weekend of college dual meets present premier matchups that will go a long way toward shaping the Division I landscape heading into postseason play.
Olympic champion Jordan Burroughs makes his return to the mat in Kermanshah, Iran this week alongside a stellar cast of teammates that include Olympic champion Kyle Snyder and World champion Logan Stieber. This U.S. will face Georgia, Russia and Azerbaijan on Thursday and will wrestle a placement dual on Friday. Wrestling will begin at 1 a.m. (ET) on the first day of competition and at 1:30 a.m. (ET) on the final day with all the action being streamed live by United World Wrestling.
The NWCA National Duals will feature eight marquee matchups this weekend with none more intriguing than No. 2 Penn State traveling to Stillwater, Okla. to take on No. 1 Oklahoma State. The battle for the National Duals crown will take place at 4 p.m. (ET) live on Flowrestling.
Other National Duals pairings set for broadcast on Flowrestling are Purdue at No. 17 South Dakota State and No. 3 Iowa visiting No. 23 Edinboro. The Jackrabbits will also play host to No. 25 North Dakota State this Sunday live on Flowrestling.
Trackwrestling will broadcast the National Duals matches between No. 12 Rutgers and No. 11 Lehigh at 7 p.m. (ET) on Friday, No. 4 Ohio State and No. 8 Cornell at 1 p.m. (ET) on Sunday, and Indiana and No. 20 Appalachian State at 3 p.m. (ET) on Sunday.
No. 7 North Carolina State hosting No. 16 Michigan and No. 5 Virginia Tech hosting No. 6 Nebraska can be viewed live on ACC Network Extra. The Michigan-NC State dual is set for 7 p.m. (ET) on Friday while the Nebraska-Virginia Tech meet will take place at 7 p.m. (ET) on Sunday.
The final dual meet featuring ranked teams this weekend will see No. 14 Central Michigan take on No. 18 Wisconsin at 1 p.m. (ET) this Sunday on BTN Plus.
