What to watch this week: World Championships, Mizzou travels to Ohio State, Walsh Ironman Tournament

This week in wrestling six Americans travel to Budapest, Hungary, in search of a World title, a pair of top-five college teams square off, five dual meets between ranked foes will be contested and one of the top annual high school tournaments takes center stage.

Americans Chris Gonzalez, Pat Martinez, Sarah Hildebrandt, Alli Ragan, Logan Stieber and James Green will compete at the Non-Olympic Weight World Championships this weekend in Hungary. United World Wrestling is expected to provide a live stream beginning at 4 a.m. (ET) on Saturday and Sunday.

In what has become a fierce out-of-conference rivalry, No. 4 Ohio State plays host to No. 5 Missouri in the most anticipated college matchup this week. The Buckeyes and Tigers wrestle at 7 p.m. (ET) on Thursday live on the Big Ten Network and BTN Plus.

Other college dual meets between ranked teams on the docket are No. 25 Princeton taking on No. 11 Lehigh, No. 7 Nebraska traveling to No. 9 NC State, No. 22 Northern Iowa battling No. 17 Wisconsin and No. 18 Minnesota facing No. 10 Michigan.

In-state rivals No. 3 Iowa and Iowa State are slated to wrestle at 8 p.m. (ET) on Saturday inside Carver-Hawkeye Arena. The dual meet can be viewed live on BTN Plus.

The Walsh Ironman tournament will be held this Friday and Saturday at Walsh Jesuit High School in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. This event will feature many of the best high school teams and individuals in the country. Catch all the action live on Flowrestling this weekend.
