The IAwrestle Team is proud to announce that on October 16th we will be hosting a premier wrestling event titled “The Night of Conflict”, and will pit some of the best talent that the state of Iowa has to offer in a head-to-head battle for supremacy of each weight class
The event is scheduled for October 16, 2015 at 7 p.m. (CT) at Carver-Hawkeye Arena, Iowa City and will take place the day before the Preseason tournament, the Conflict at Carver, whose proceeds directly benefit the Hawkeye Wrestling Club.
"Iowa high school wrestling fans have been waiting to see a pre-season dual and we're happy to bring it to them. This is an opportunity to highlight the states top talent against some of the nations top talent," Tony Hager of IAwrestle said.
"Wrestling inside Carver-Hawkeye Arena is an opportunity that not very many wrestlers get to experience so the opportunity to partner with Conflict at Carver was a no brainer for my partners and I. We knew kids would want to wrestle in this event if given the opportunity," Hager continued.
The Night of Conflict teams will be coached by former Hawkeye greats, and recent World Team members, Tony Ramos and Brent Metcalf.
Full descriptions and additional information on Night of Conflict matches can be found on IAwrestle.com.
Fans can vote on the order of matches by going to IAwrestle.com. Tickets can be purchased here and at the door. Doors open at 6 p.m. (CT) and wrestling starts at 7 p.m. (CT).
