Williams, Kalil, Hooker receive Greco-Roman draws at CISM World Games in Korea

MUNGYEONG, Korea – The first three U.S. Greco-Roman wrestlers have weighed in and received their draws at the 6th Conseil International du Sport Militaire (CISM) World Games. They will compete on Friday at the Mungyeong Indoor Gymnasium.
Three-time U.S. World Team member Sergeant Caylor Williams of the U.S. Army will open against African Championships silver medalist Hamza Haloui of Algeria at 98 kg/215 lbs.
At 71 kg/156 lbs., Private First Class Michael Hooker of the U.S. Army drew Przemyslaw Kraczkowski of Poland in his first match. Hooker also competed in freestyle on Wednesday, but did not medal.
Also competing on Friday is First Lieutenant Aaron Kalil of U.S. Marine Corps, who will battle 2012 Asian Junior bronze medalist Hyeong-Muk Choi of Korea in his opening match.
Competition at 80 kg/176 lbs. will also be held on Friday, but the USA does not have an entry there.
The U.S. is seeking its first medal at the 2015 CISM World Games, as the team did not win a medal in the freestyle competition held on Tuesday and Wednesday.
