Update: 13 U.S. wrestlers receive draws for day one of Yasar Dogu International in Turkey

ISTANBUL, Turkey – A group of 13 U.S. men’s freestyle wrestlers have weighed and received their first round draws at the Yasar Dogu International, which begins on Saturday.
The USA has four athletes entered at 57 kg/125 lbs., a weight class with 25 entries. Competing is Angel Escobedo, who was fifth at the 2013 World Championships, along with Joe Colon, Dan Mitcheff and Erkin Tadzhimetov. In the first round, Colon will wrestle Escobedo.
The USA has three athletes at 65 kg/134 lbs. Two of the Americans will wrestle each other in the first round, 2014 World Team member Jimmy Kennedy and UNC redshirt Evan Henderson. Also competing is Jason Chamberlain. This weight has 28 entries, including 2014 World champion Soslan Ramonov of Russia and 2013 World champion Bekhan Goigereev of Russia
The USA has two talented entries at 74 kg, 2014 U.S. World Team Trials runner-up David Taylor and 2014 University World champion Tyler Caldwell. There are 28 entries at this weight class, including three-time World champion Denis Tsargush of Russia.
Team USA has four entries at 97 kg/213 lbs., including two-time U.S. World Team member J.D. Bergman, plus Wynn Michalak, Micah Burak and Enock Francois. In the first round, Americans Michalak and Burak will wrestle.
