Kids Triple Crowns up for grabs at ASICS Kids FS/GR Nationals in Wisconsin – See it LIVE on Flowrestling

WISCONSIN DELLS, Wis. – The 2015 ASICS Kids Freestyle and Greco-Roman Nationals has moved to Wisconsin Dells, Wis., and will be hosted on July 1-2.

This is the national championship in the Olympic styles for the Kids divisions of Schoolboy/girl (13-14 years), Novice (11-12 years) and Intermediate (9-10 years).

Up for grabs is the coveted USA Wrestling Kids Triple Crown, which is given to any wrestler who wins USA Wrestling national titles in folkstyle, freestyle and Greco-Roman during the same year.

Winners in these age-groups from the 2015 USA Wrestling Folkstyle Nationals, held in Cedar Falls, Iowa in April, will be eligible to pursue the Kids Triple Crown this year.

Ten talented wrestlers were awarded 2014 Kids Triple Crowns: Joshua Barr of Team Donahoe in Michigan (Intermediate 75), Rocky Elam of Team Central Wrestling in Missouri (Novice 100), Greyden Penner of Sudden Victory Wrestling in Missouri (Novice 112), Sawyer Hobbs of EIWA Elite in Idaho (Novice 120), Cullan Schriever of Sebolt Wrestling Academy in Iowa (Schoolboy 70), Colton Yapoujian of Mile High Wrestling Club in Colorado (Schoolboy 91), Theorius Robison of Sons of Thunder Academy in Colorado (Schoolboy 112), Brock Hardy of Team Utah (Schoolboy 136), Travis Wittlake of Team Bucs in Oregon (Schoolboy 152) and Kaleb Reeves of Savage Wrestling in Iowa (Schoolboy 190).

Greco-Roman competition will be held Wednesday, July 1, with freestyle competition set for Thursday, July 2.

In addition to the three national championship age-groups, a Bantam Festival will be held in both styles.
