Foxcatcher to be shown in Colorado Springs on Dec. 19

The major motion picture, Foxcatcher, which premiered last month to rave reviews in New York and Los Angeles, is scheduled to be shown in Colorado Springs on Friday, Dec. 19.
Foxcatcher is scheduled to be shown that day at Kimball’s Peak Three Theater, 115 E. Pikes Peak Ave. in Colorado Springs.
The Bennett Miller directed film, starring Steve Carell as John E. du Pont, Channing Tatum as Mark Schultz and Mark Ruffalo as Dave Schultz, has captured the attention of movie critics and other media members all across the nation.
Many of the reviews have suggested that Miller, Carell, Tatum and Ruffalo may be considered for numerous major industry awards, including possible nominations for Academy Awards.
Brothers Dave and Mark Schultz won freestyle gold medals for the United States at the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles. Mark Schultz won a pair of World titles and Dave captured one World title in freestyle wrestling. Dave Schultz was a six-time World medalist.
