AUSTIN, Texas - FloSports announced this week an agreement with United World Wrestling to live stream the 2016 United World Wrestling Men’s Freestyle World Cup on FloWrestling.

This year's Freestyle World World Cup will take place June 11-12 and will be hosted once more by The Forum in Inglewood, Calif. This marks the third consecutive year that the Freestyle World Cup will take place in the Los Angeles, Calif. area.

"Our World Cup partnership with FloSports is another way for us to modernize the delivery of wrestling content to fans,” said United World Wrestling President Nenad Lalovic. “We heard great feedback from the Pan Am Olympic Qualifiers and hope to see similar results in Los Angeles."

Each year the World Cup plays hosts to the top 8 teams from the previous year’s World Championships. Russia, Georgia, Turkey, and Mongolia will make up Group A, with Iran, Azerbaijan, India, and The United States in Group B.

“We’re thrilled to partner with United World Wrestling again, and continue to grow our relationship by making these championship-level events like the World Cup available to our international audience of wrestling fans,” FloWrestling General Manager Joe Williamson said. “Showcasing the top wrestlers in the world at the highest levels of competition is what FloWrestling is all about, and there’s no better opportunity to do that than with this weekend’s World Cup.”

After pool competition, all teams will compete against their corresponding place winner for final placement. For example, the 1st place team from Pool A will then wrestle the 1st place team from Pool B for the Gold medal match.

A year ago Iran bested the host United States in the final. Every dual will be broadcast live in its entirety on FloWrestling here. Tickets are still available at, and can be purchased here
