Penn State's Quentin Wright named TheMat.com Wrestler of the Week for March 1-7

Quentin Wright (Wingate, Pa./Penn State University) has been named TheMat.com Wrestler of the Week for March 1-7.
Each week, TheMat.com will select an Athlete of the Week, based upon performance within wrestling for that week. The selection committee will consider any level of wrestling, from youth programs through the Senior level.
Wright was named Outstanding Wrestler at the Big Ten Championships after winning the 184-pound title on Sunday as the No. 8 seed.
Wright helped lead Penn State to its first Big Ten title.
Wright beat Hunter Collins of Michigan 10-2, No. 1 seed Travis Rutt of Wisconsin 4-3, No. 5 seed Tony Dallago of Illinois 8-5 and No. 2 seed Kevin Steinhaus of Minnesota 4-3.
Wright, a sophomore, placed sixth at the 2009 NCAA Championships at 174 before redshirting last season. He won the University World Team Trials in freestyle last year.
