LIMA, Peru – The brackets have been released in Greco-Roman for the 2025 U20 Pan American Championships, which begin tomorrow morning in Lima, Peru.
The U.S. will sport a youthful Greco-Roman roster that features just two athletes with previous international experience—Landon Drury at 63 kg and Pierson Manville at 67 kg.
Drury popped onto the international scene in 2023 when he won a U20 Pan American title and wrestled in a bronze medal match at the U20 World Championships, finishing in fifth place in Amman, Jordan. He will wrestle a five-man round-robin bracket on Thursday with his toughest challengers being 2025 U23 Pan American champion Diego Terriquez Ibarra of Mexico and returning U20 Pan American champion Clisman Carracedo Veliz of Ecuador.
Manville was a U17 Pan American champion in both Greco-Roman and freestyle in 2021. He has been matched against two opponents to start the event in round-robin play—Henry Figueroa Aponte of Puerto Rico and 2023 U17 Pan American bronze medalist Lucas Marciel Da Silva of Brazil—A favorable draw for the American.
This event will serve as a final tune-up for the upcoming U20 World Championships for five Greco-Roman athletes—Drury is accompanied by U20 World Teamers Caleb Noble at 55 kg, Leister Bowling IV at 77 kg, Nick Nosler at 87 kg and Shilo Jones at 130 kg.
Noble and Bowling IV are the only Americans who aren’t drawn into a round-robin bracket, both situated in the quarterfinal round. Noble opens with 2023 U17 Pan American champion Moises Peralta Gonzalez of Ecuador, while Bowling IV will see Vincent Echavarry of Puerto Rico to begin his run.
Rounding out the U.S. Greco-Roman lineup are Treygen Morin at 60 kg, Jude Randall at 72 kg, Gavin Ricketts at 82 kg and Quinlan Morgan at 97 kg. Notably, Morgan opens with defending champion Dorian Trejo Olguin of Mexico in his five-man round-robin bracket.
The U20 Pan American Championships will feature Greco-Roman on Thursday, women’s freestyle on Friday, men’s freestyle on Saturday and beach wrestling on Sunday. Action begins at 10 a.m. local time each day. Lima, Peru, is located one hour behind U.S. Eastern Time.
Initial opponents for each U.S. wrestler can be found below. Athletes in a round robin bracket will have multiple opponents listed. A full set of brackets and match-by-match results is available on UWW Arena. A live broadcast of the event can be found at FloWrestling.com.
