U.S. Greco-Roman delegation to attend Thor Masters in Denmark, March 24-25

A delegation of 13 U.S. Senior-level Greco-Roman wrestlers will compete this weekend at the Thor Masters in Nykobing Falster, Denmark, March 24-25.


The athletes are attending the event representing their national club, Regional Training Center or as members of the National Training Site at Northern Michigan University.


Among those scheduled to attend are previous Senior World Team member Sammy Jones of the New York AC (63 kg) and Jesse Porter of the New York AC (77 kg).


Also competing is a current member of the Greco-Roman National Team (top three in his weight class), Christian DuLaney of the Minnesota Storm at 97 kg.


A previous member of the Greco-Roman National Team who will be competing is Richard Carlson of the Minnesota Storm at 87 kg.


Nykobing Falster is five hours ahead of U.S. Eastern time zone. A preliminary session will be held on Friday, March 24, with the completion of the tournament on Saturday, March 25.
