The 2023 National High School Recruiting Showcase for girls will be held at South Point Hotel, Casino and Spa in Las Vegas, Nev., April 28-29. This is one of the most prestigious event each year for girls high school wrestlers.

It is one of the major events within the 2023 Pritchard Company U.S. Open, presented by FloWrestling.

The field has gotten much stronger in recent weeks, with 95 state champions and NHSCA All-Americans registered, as well as 67 athletes who were ranked in the most recent National Girls High School Rankings.

This event is contested in freestyle, which is the style which women wrestle in college. It is only open only to those who qualify to compete, based upon success in specific competitions.

There is still time for qualified athletes to register for the Girls National High School Recruiting Showcase.

Two returning Showcase champions are registered, Karlee Brooks of Arizona at 117 pounds and Persaeus Gomez of Colorado at 122 pounds. Brooks is coming off a big win at the USMC Women’s Nationals at the U17 level. Also in the field is No. 1 ranked Morgan Turner of Illinois, who also won a berth on the U17 World Team and will wrestle at 100 pounds in Las Vegas. Another 2023 U17 World Team member who is registered for the Showcase is Piper Fowler of Tennessee, who will compete at 164 pounds.

This event is one of competitions which count towards the Junior and 16U Triple Crown for girls.

This will also be a major event that will affect the National Girls High School Rankings, which are scheduled next in early May.

The Girls National High School Recruiting Showcase will be one of the nine different events held during the week of the Pritchard Companies U.S. Open, presented by FloWrestling. The High School National Recruiting Showcase for girls will be held alongside the U.S. Senior Nationals for women.
