USA Wrestling's Folkstyle Tour of America visits six cities, kicking off with Northwest Bigfoot Battle, Nov. 18-19

USA Wrestling’s Folkstyle Tour of America is the nation’s premier youth folkstyle wrestling series geared towards boys and girls of various ages and skill levels. The Tour of America series will host six world-class events in the 2022-23 season.


Last year, over 4,000 wrestlers from all over the country competed in the series, with overall participation in the series growing every year since being established.


The series features one new event, the 2023 Hot Rod Blowout, in Charlotte, N.C. at the Charlotte Motor Speedway and will be held in January 14, 2023.


One of the other popular returning events, King and Queen of the Mountain, will be moving to Denver, Colorado. This event will again be hosting dual competition for all USA Wrestling sanctioned clubs and will be contested in K-6th grade Boys and 1st-8th grade girls.


The Folkstyle Tour of America kicks off with the annual Northwest Bigfoot Battle in Spokane, Washington, at The Podium, November 18-19. Registration opens on September 15, REGISTER HERE 


Other stops on the 2022-23 USA Wrestling Folkstyle Tour of America are the Stockard Stampede in Fort Worth, Texas (December 17), the Salt Lake Slam in Farmington, Utah (December 31) and Dominate in the Dells in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin (March 11-12)

Athletes will compete for some of the most impressive trophies within youth wrestling, with each event featuring a specific trophy design based upon the local culture. In addition, athletes competing at Folkstyle Tour of America events score points towards USA Wrestling's Future Olympian Rankings
